Welcome!

Thank you for coming to my Remembrance page. I have shared some of my poetry and thoughts in my other web page, Wilder Pony, but this is meant to be a page that will pay tribute to some special people that are no longer with us. I know that losing someone close to you is a very personal experience, but sometimes sharing can help make it easier to bear. Writing poetry has always been my way of expressing things, and I hope as you read through these pages it might help you in some way.

You'll find the poetry on the Remembrance page. Each one has a special meaning, a special dedication. Since I built this site four years ago, I have been overwhelmed by some of the e-mails and guest book entries of people who have visited this site, and the dedications are not just my own anymore. And now I am making a special dedication of this site to the memory of my birth mother, who passed away in October. I have been unable to find the right words to express the loss that I'm feeling, but poetry was one of the many gifts she gave me. Every word that's written here is thanks to her, and I hope in some small way that reading them will bring you comfort.
